How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Defendcounts Pest Control to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens next. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Defendcounts Pest Control
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • How a provider we connected you with behaved

When the Problem Is a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, prices, products, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly. Keep a written record as you go.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Defendcounts Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

If your worry is about how a pesticide was applied, you can also contact the agency that oversees pest control in California.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@defendcounts.living and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will then look into what happened, which may mean contacting the provider. Afterward, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our answer does not settle things, reply and ask us to look again. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
